The State of Israel, like other countries all around the world, is undergoing an unprecedented crisis due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus. Throughout the past months, citizens, business owners, decision makers and ministries have been investing most of their time and effort in managing the crisis and providing quick solutions and exit strategies, in an attempt at immediate economic recovery. In contrast, we at Medina L’Mofet see a need, opportunity, and duty for growth from the crisis, by developing ideas, promoting and applying actions, initiatives, and investments that will create a national value-based infrastructure to build Israel as an exemplary nation for all its people, everywhere, and in every field.
Medina L’Mofet was founded in April 2020 at the wake of the COVID-19 crisis by Israeli economic leaders: Michael Eisenberg, Yisrael Dancziger, Prof. Gila Kurtz, Daniel Schreiber, Roni Flamer, Elior Bar, and under the auspices of OR Movement. Since then, over 200 partners joined the community, which works together in order to grow from the crisis and to build a better future for the entire population of Israel.

We aim at building infrastructure for economic-employment resilience for every household in Israel, by operating a multi-sector network who works towards tracing, building, funding and implementing initiatives that will draw us closer to the desired future of Israel.
The creative community of Medina L’Mofet is a varied assembly of creative, groundbreaking people from all sectors of Israeli economy. The community will work together to design the future of selected areas of life and will assume the responsibility for implementation of significant initiatives, in order to strengthen the resilience of Israel’s households today and in the future. Together, using entrepreneurial tools, we can provide swift solutions to national challenges.
The ‘Sprints’ Method – 3 rapid activity cycles per year, each in a selected area of life that has a crucial impact on the resilience of all households in Israel. Each sprint is divided into the compass and initiatives development stage, in which we draw a disruptive future vision for the selected area of life, then identifying the challenges that stand in our way to achieve the desired future; and the implementation and test-run stage in which we locate startups and NGOs that meet the challenges and offer them investment and a push towards success.
